New blog for the New Year and my first finish of 2017

I decided a few weeks ago that I really needed to start blogging my makes again, I realised that I don’t always remember to take decent photos of all the little bits and pieces I make before I gift them. The prime example of this is the Heidi Bears Fatty Lumpkin (with unicorn mod) that I made for a Christmas gift. Luckily it was for my OHs sister so I can take some post gifting photos next time I’m at her house 🙂

It’s a bit of a wretch starting a whole new blog instead of using my old platform but it was having issues (I don’t think it was compatible with my new software) it became increasingly difficult to post so I pretty much gave up. So here I am starting again after who knows how long!

So on to my first finish of 2017 🙂

I felt so bad at Christmas as it’s the first year in a VERY long time that I’ve given out shop bought Christmas cards. Occasionally I have posted out shop bought but I always make the cards I give to my family and close friends. I just ran out of time and it’s irritated me so much that I decided to start on next years now! One of my favourite cross stitch designers is Lucie Heaton and I adore her Furry Tales designs, there aren’t many charts that I can re stitch without getting bored but these cute mice are certainly on the list. I still have to make it into a card but I’ll be leaving that until later in the year.

Thanks for stopping by 🙂
